This is an absolutely beautiful Z/28! The restoration on this car took 3 years and almost $30,000 just in parts. There is a large 3-ring binder detailing the restoration with photos and receipts! Almost everything in the car is new, including all of the wiring, emblems, chrome, interior, gauges, bushings, bearings, etc.. The car is incredibly straight and has beautiful PPG bc/cc paint. Before painting, the entire car was media blasted for the best possible paint prep. The engine compartment is incredibly detailed and features the incredible GM ZZ4 crate motor straight from the local Chevrolet dealer. These are incredible aluminum head, solid lifter motors that have almost 400hp and over 400lbs of torque! And what makes these motors so special is they produce that power while being incredibly smooth and reliable! They are very quick with almost instantaneous power yet have a very smooth idle. The detailing in the engine compartment features a lot of beautiful powder coating, including the brackets, hinges, springs, etc.. Take a listen to the sound file below of the car starting, a couple quick taps of the accelerator and shut down. And the FlowMaster exhaust gives it that perfect muscle car sound. And all of that smooth power is delivered to the original and rebuilt 4sp Muncie transmission and 12 bolt 3.73 posi rear end. The transmission is like new, shifting very smooth with very tight linkage. The interior is like new and all of the wiring and gauges are new and work perfect. In most 1st generation Camaros, the console gauge amp meter rarely worked. But all of the gauges work perfect and smooth in this car. It drives incredible and really draws a crowd. It has been entered in 10 shows since completion and has placed 1st 9 times with very high scores in every area.
