This beautiful 1969 Camaro RS/SS 396 4sp car is ready for that cruise or ProTour! The entire drive train is new, from the origina12 bolt rear end with new 4 series Eaton and Richmond gears; To the completely rebuilt Muncie M21 close ratio transmission and completely rebuilt 68 396 block! The block may not be the original as it has been decked and the pad for the VIN is blank. It is a 3935440 block built in 1968 and is correct for a 396 Camaro. The car was built in January of 69 in Los Angeles, CA. where it stayed until last year. That explains the incredible condition of the body of this car. No rust or accident history and all of the body panels are very straight and believed to be the originals! Trunk & floors are excellent and un-cut! This is about as solid and original body as you could hope to find. The engine was just rebuilt 30 over with Oval closed chamber heads, Demon carb, Hooker ceramic coated headers, new March serpentine belt system, Taylor wires, 434 steel crank, Kevlar clutch, Hayes flywheel, TRW pistons, etc.. all the best stuff and it runs like it! The transmission was completely gone through with most every replaceable part being new. The original 12 bolt rear end was completely rebuilt with new 3.73 gears and series 4 Eaton. Body is incredibly straight with no sign of filler anywhere. All new Poly bushings throughout including complete front end and body mount bushings. Hotchkiss front springs and sway bar. Vented and drilled power front disc brakes stop this car on a dime and includes new heavy duty calipers. Beautiful all new interior with Comfort weave seats. Complete ProComp in-dash gauge package with all new wiring and done right. All of the gauges work perfect as do the led indicator lights for signals and warnings. And for the icing on the cake, this car sounds incredible with the 2.5" FlowMaster aluminized exhaust system finished with beautiful stainless steel tips. It really has that incredible muscle car sound. This car absolutely runs and drives as good as it looks. And there is just over 100 miles on the entire rebuilt drive train from rear end to the engine. This beautiful car is ready to enjoy on those weekend cruises and car shows. I would not hesitate to drive this car anywhere. It starts and runs perfect and idles great and does not run hot. This car also has an incredible sound system with CD player, 4 hidden speakers (No holes were cut for the speakers) and a top of the line Rockford Fosgate amp hidden in the back.
